This legal adjustment requires hunting licence holders to apply early. In order to meet the new requirements, hunters will be able to submit their application for a hunting licence renewal as early as January. To do so, it is sufficient to submit the completed application for a hunting licence renewal to us by post or in person so that we can initiate the necessary background check.

The background check can take 8 - 10 weeks. Once the check has been completed, applicants will receive written confirmation from us. With this letter, a valid hunting liability insurance certificate and the old hunting licence, hunting licence holders can then extend their hunting licence.
The renewal can be done either during our regular office hours, which are Tuesdays from 09:00 to 12:00 and 13:00 to 18:00 and Thursdays from 09:00 to 12:00 and 13:00 to 16:00, or by post.
We would like to point out that early application is particularly recommended in the first few months of the year to ensure a smooth process.
