Use

In principle, access to the archive is open to everyone. Use can be made directly or by written request for information. In the case of personal use, we recommend prior registration in order to facilitate research and to avoid unnecessary waiting times. Copies of the documents can be made on request if the state of preservation or legal regulations do not prevent this. The use of the library is regulated by the valid statutes of the Landkreis Börde. A reference library is also available to users, which manages an extensive collection of newspapers, law gazettes, posters, postcards and photographs.
