Tasks
- Tasks as a lower regional development authority, including advice on spatial planning requirements
- Comments of the district on urban land use planning and other statutes of the municipalities
- Submission of statements on building planning law in the building permit procedure/BImSch procedure
- Preparation of statements by the district as a body responsible for public concerns (bundling authority) for spatially significant measures and planning (e.g. infrastructure measures and planning approval procedures)
- Planning approval authority for county roads
- Determination of planning bases for district concepts on topics with spatial relevance
- Cadastral matters / provision of geodata by maintaining a geographic information system (GIS)
- Approval authority for urban land use plans of the municipalities (changes/additions to land use plans and early development plans according to the German Building Code)
