Girls' and Boys' Day- Future Day 2025 in the Börde district

The Börde district cordially invites all interested pupils to Future Day 2025!

It's that time of year again on 3 April: the annual Future Day (also known as Girls' Day or Boys' Day) is taking place. The Future Day is a career and study orientation programme for girls and boys from Year 5 onwards, which aims to open up new areas of experience for young people. On the annual Future Day, pupils learn about professions in which the other gender predominantly works. These experiences broaden their horizons and their range of career choices.

What is everyday working life like in a district administration? Once again this year, 15 male and 15 female pupils will be able to find out at the so-called Future Day for Boys and Girls. They will gain an insight into various training occupations and offices.

The administration trainees have planned the Future Day together with the head of training and the equal opportunities officer and put together a varied programme. The cliché-free career orientation day is kicked off with a welcome by District Administrator Martin Stichnoth.

Young people now have the chance to register for this special day and gain exciting insights into the many different areas of work in local government. As places are limited, we recommend early online registration via Radar(www.girls-day.de/Radar or www.boys-day.de/boys-day-r adar). Further offers from companies, associations, educational organisations and institutions from the Börde district can already be found there. Interested companies and organisations can still post their practical vocational events for girls or boys online in the competence centre's radar. They can obtain information and register for their desired offer at the same place.

Anyone who requires support in entering their details in the radar or in searching for and finding suitable offers is welcome to contact Ms Klommhaus, Equal Opportunities Officer for the Börde district (contact: gleichstellung(at)landkreis-boerde.de, Tel.: 03904 7240-1301).
