With the church, which was first mentioned in 1148, the archetype of a Romanesque village church has been preserved. In addition to small windows in the lower part, the fortified west transverse tower has eight large round-arched domed sound openings, whose slender columns carry broadly projecting imposts. On the south side of the nave there is a portal with stepped jamb, whose quarter columns bear capitals with plant ornaments. Although in the 17th century the original round-arched windows of the nave and chancel were replaced by rectangular ones, their simple beauty can still be seen on the apse.
