A look at participation in digital education in the Börde district and society as a whole shows that we must continue to catch up today and in the future. Creating equal access to digital learning for all students and teachers is the top priority for the Börde district as a school authority.
The Corona crisis highlighted the deficits in digitization in education. Together, we are all called upon as players in the education system to ensure that students are reached and long-term educational disparities can be avoided.
With the DigitalPakt Schule (Digital Pact for Schools), the federal government is supporting the states and municipalities in investing in digital education infrastructure. The focus is on the key future task of "learning in the digital world" and, in particular, on promoting the development of digital "teaching-learning infrastructures" for all types of schools. The conversion of a total of 27 schools in the Börde district is planned by December 31, 2024. This project is financed with 5,179,512.00 euros in funding from the DigitalPakt Schule and additional own funds of the district in the amount of 4,710,251.28 euros.
